Rico served as Sheriff under the Erstwhile Prince, Calebros. As a wartime leader, Calebros observed no Primogen, leaving Rico as defacto enforcer for the domain. In the aftermath of the Sabbat Occupation, Calebros abdicated his position as Prince. Rico, however, was kept on as Sheriff to ease the transition of power for the new Prince, Cortés.
In January 1986 the Primogen of New York voted to grant Clan Lasombra entry into the Camarilla. Rico publicly voiced his displeasure with the determination, and stated that he would not stand for such mockery. As a result, he was stripped of his position as Sheriff and shunned from court.
Rico now leads a small, Nosferatu strike team, called the Rat Pack. They are currently handling the transfer of the late Regent Gurvich's domain. Before the Nosferatu may take full possession, the Jewish Museum Chantry must be swept for wards and boobytraps, and any tomes or artifacts cataloged.
