Guinevere cannot remember a greater thrill than the first time her scalpel met flesh. As a young student of medicine she followed the Second Vienna School closely, attending every public dissection available. Studious and determined, she finally became a learned doctor in the most important city of the medical enlightenment. Vienna in all her juxtapositions provided Guinevere with everything she could need: centuries of amassed knowledge, bleeding edge scientific discoveries, and cemeteries blossoming with veritable bouquets of bodies to study. Every aorta, femur, sclera, metatarsal, and skull one could have ever wanted are within reach. All that is, except the skull Guinevere truly desires — the skull of a true genius, the skull that will be the crowning glory of her magnum opus.
