Elysium

When needed, the Camarilla Court gather in secret sanctuaries known as Elysium, often changing locations to maintain absolute privacy and using a myriad deceptions to hide Kindred affairs from mortal scrutiny. Elysia accommodate feasts, ceremonies, negotiations, and heated debate, protected and directed by the Keeper and their heralds, also known as harpies. One may be hidden behind the dark rooms of an upscale fetish club, another in an otherwise unused nuclear bunker, a third in the Guggenheim’s Brancusi collection at night.

Elysium is technically a neutral area for all of a domain's Kindred, Camarilla or otherwise. Violence is strictly prohibited within Elysium, and individuals are expected to keep tempers in check. Any grievances between vampires are to be left outside, and the Keeper of Elysium or the Sheriff will forcibly remove those who cannot control themselves if need be. While this provides opportunity for both neonates and elders to relax, social conflict is often at its peak and what happens in Elysium can easily lead to repercussions off ground.

Elysia often allow for Kindred to express themselves outside the typical confines of the Masquerade. This often manifests as otherwise antiquated fashion choices, jewelry symbolic of clan or position, elaborate costume pieces, or even blissfully au naturel in the case of the Nosferatu and Tzimisce.
