This chunky building looms over the passing street, its concrete facade and brutalist edifice obscuring the macabre content within. Billed as a research institute, the Center for Thanatology's extends much farther. Beneath the cluttered offices, cramped boardrooms, and sterile morgue waits a sprawling temple complex erected in dedication to Mithras. Constructed by the masked Kindred, Pius August, this mithraeum serves as both haven and ceremonial space for him and his childe.
