Samantha was born in the 1800s, haunted by her unborn twin, Bronagh Hain. Though tragic, Bronagh was not malevolent... at least not toward Samantha. Rather, the two would performed seances during the height of the American Spiritualist Movement. It was during one such showing that they were scouted by Lord Ephraim Wainwright, who had made a hobby out of debunking frauds.

THE SEA OF TIME

• Samantha and Bronagh accompanied Lord Wainwright to Vienna, Austria to deliver the skull of Joseph Haydn into the hands of the local Chantry. But the skull was stolen by Judith Lucretia, with Samantha and her shade sister being the oly true witnesses. ^2022-06-13

• Samantha's body, long kept in stasis, was removed from an Orpheus Group warehouse by the player coterie. She was moved to the Garden Terrace Apartments, under the "care" of Kirsten van Dale, and cut off from Bronagh.^023-01-23
