Rasmodius was previously the ghoul of the enigmatic Nosferatu, Tom Riley. He was later embraced into Clan Tremere by Aradia Mercoledi, who had offered sanctuary from Johnny-Five. This unauthorized and illegitimate siring came to light one night, as Aradia publically claimed Rasmodius as her childe. Though Prince Cortès showed mercy, the two now continue night-to-night with a Damoclean sword above their head. Realizing the totality of his situation, Rasmodius came clean to Aradia about embracing three of his friends — also all without permission. Knowing that neither of them could afford another such mistake, Aradia found the two surviving neonates and staked them, delivering them to Pius Augustus to be smuggled out of the city. Rasmodius is currently enrolled within the Library Chantry, at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, under the tutelage of Regent Abraham DuSable.
