Foliage is sparse in adverse seasons, but never truly gone.

The Garden Terrace Apartments loom over the surrounding neighborhoods in Brooklyn, standing as a monolith of aged brownstone and single-pane windows. The building is old — older than any city documents might imply — and all those within its presence somehow feel this.

The outdated, if not well-maintained, facade makes it easy for a passerby to ignore the building. But for residents the building is a warm blanket, safe and secure from the dangers beyond. Problems are rare, and many are fixed before they are even reported... and without anyone having witnessed the repair.
