The Day I Died

The Day I Died was a broadcast soap opera, starring Rose Valentine. It follows the exploits of a recently deceased woman, whose ghost helps a rotating cast to solve various murders — and hopefully her own. Though ultimately a fairly formulaic series, critics have noted the rather melancholic undertone that at times lifts it above network-imposed mediocrity.

The show aired for three full seasons, before the mysterious disappearance of lead actress, Miss Valentine. The partially filmed fourth season is currently being cobbled together with limited reshoots and teased byway of a marketing blitzkrieg. Syndication of the show sees older episodes playing throughout the night, though its traditional timeslot is currently being used as a "marathon" of sorts leading up to the premiere of the fourth — and final — season.
