INCIDENT REPORT

The present coterie members climb into Prince Cortes' limo, accompanied by Sheriff Conway and his two Hounds.

The limo snakes its way through NYC, doing its best to avoid the New Year's Eve crowds and traffic, before arriving at a stately high-rise.

Within the penthouse office, the Prince herself meets with the coterie. Josi makes a good initial impression with her firm grasp of etiquette, while Kalliste mostly pours themself another drink from the office dry bar. Aradia, however, is drawn to press the Prince on her taste for self portraits, reminiscing about the old Renaissance masters. In the process, she offers a fair amount of information about herself and Camilla.

Nevertheless, the Prince presents an opportunity for the coterie to make good on their previous flaunting of the Fifth Tradition. They are to rendezvous with a visiting Sabbat-aligned Lasombra at JFK International Airport and bring them to an awaiting safehouse.

The coterie is given a pager and escorted from the Prince's office by the city's Principal of Faith, Anatoli Petropoulos. He has a brief exchange with Josi, claiming to known her sire, Pius Augustus. He also warns her that the expiring Promise of 1528 has put the Hecata in a precarious position with the Camarilla.

To clear the way for their progress at the airport, the coterie decides to meet with the Anarch Baron of the surrounding domain. Baron Callahan is found at his dive bar, Avalon, ringing in the New Year with his coterie of 1% bikers, the Pendragons. Playing on stage are the proto-riot grrrl band, the Raging Cunts.

The Baron is curt, but eventually receptive to the coterie. They offer a boon, and in return the Baron will look the other way as they traffick a shipment of drugs into JFK and through his domain.

As they exit Avalon, Aradia runs into the woman she called from her coven, Kira. After a brief exchange, Kaia is left behind to continue partying in this unfamiliar environment.

The next day, the coterie is visited by Baron Edmond Bruck. As promised, he has a favor to ask, and has brought the details. It seems that in a few nights, an upstart Anarch with apsirations of Barony, will be hosting a "rant" in the Bronx. Word has spread quickly through the boroughs, and a large gathering is expected, with the other Barons each sending a delegation. While the player's will not be Bruck's official representatives, as they reside within Baron Thostenson's domain, he has it on good authority that Thostenson doesn't intend to send a party.

Eventually, the coterie makes their way to the airport to pick up the Lasombra delegate. Kalliste goes to a gate on the opposite side of the airport to make a spectacle of themself, drawing attention to an intentionally poorly planned drug deal.

The rest of the coterie secures the visiting Cainite, who is in a nondescript shipping crate, and loads them up into the awaiting van. After checking for bugs and/or explosives, the driver is given the go ahead to head toward the safehouse.
