Étienne DuParaquette is an aspiring actor and singer who moved from Lyon, France to New York City in 1982 in the hopes of making it big on Broadway. When his dreams of instant success were dashed, he survived by waiting tables at a local café by day and hustling in the streets at night. He didn't give up though, and is still auditioning and hoping for that breakout role to come his way.
When Josi Lefevre first arrived in New York she was pleasantly surprised to meet a fellow Frenchman at a café not too far from her new job. The two quickly struck up a friendship and even though she can't visit the café during the day any longer, they still meet up in the evenings from time to time, and Josi always attends any community theater productions Étienne stars in.
THE SEA OF TIME
