Once a well respected Detective with the NYPD's 50th Precinct in the Bronx, Clarkston witnessed the brutal murder of his partner amidst what he can only assume was a Satanic ritual crime. Though his theory earned him the ire of his department, an old academy friend agreed to feed him any unusual data from the nascent ViCAP unit.
THE SEA OF TIME
- Clarkston quit the police department after it was suggested he take a leave of absence following a mandatory psychological evaluation. He fell to drinking, and lost his marriage shortly thereafter.
- Clarkston was hired by Josi Lefévre to work with Archer McKenzie at their private investigation firm. The idea was to redirect his suspicions of Satanists and monsters outward, toward Josi's Kindred enemies.
