Erebus is a moody synth-and-guitar driven industrial band. Fronted by Leonard Bolshevik, the pen-name of an East Berlin poet, Erebus' lyrics deal with concepts of personal freedom in the shadow of politics and religion.
The band has put out a number of fuzzy demo tapes, such as Derailing Democracy and Stigmatic. A frequently inebriated Bolshevik has also hinted at an upcoming concept album, with occasional preview songs played as live encores. Fans have pieced together the track list from bootleg recordings, with a chronological order based on the narrative of the lyrics themselves.
