When finally Embraced, it was perform or starve for Cassidy. She took the screen-name of "Rose Valentine", using her powers of [[Presence]] on the surprise hit soap opera, [[The Day I Died]] — where she plays the titular ghost detective. It was only with the help of fellow blood doll, [[NPC Futaba|Kaiya Futaba]], that the pair escaped Valentino's influence.


Cassidy spends the modern nights dodging enraptured stalkers, and continuing her upward trajectory along the social ladders of Kine and Kindred alike, swearing to one night use her influence to ruin Valentino Rose. Though close friends, she keeps off-Broadway actor, [[NPC SmithJacob|Jacob Smith]], ignorant to the World of Darkness for fear that he too will fall prey.
