INCIDENT REPORT

I See Trees of Green...

  • Aradia snaps out of her vision, having experienced a long-forgotten night in Sodom, Ontario. She tells the coterie of the pack of lupines there and their struggle with some sort of presence. She also mentions that Erik was present, apparently being the trigger for her vision.
  • Erik confirms that the story is true, much to everyone's bewilderment. It seems that he, the coterie of Kindred, and the lupines entered into a contract with the fae, vowing to protect the "wyrd" that had been threatened by a logging operation. It created an uneasy peace between the Kindred and lupine of the area, but did ultimately result in the final death of the Ventrue operating the logging camp, Guillaume Desjardins.
  • Erik stresses that even though he understands little of lupine politics or motivation, that he doubts that the lupine who attacked Aradia and Lina are affiliated with those who entered the fae contract with him. Even still, if the coterie does intend to assembled the Ghost Council, then it might be best if he is not present, as there's no telling how he might be received.
  • Erik also shoots down the idea of potentially using the parley as an ambush. He recounts that his clansmen did exactly that when the "Children of Fenrir" has plagued their coasts with constant raids. Using the council as a distraction, his clan's bravest warriors struck at the Children's hearth, slaying their Völva. The resulting retribution saw Erik's own daughter, Astrid, be cut down as she performed her duty as shield-maiden. Erik has interpreted the lose of Astrid as punishment for soiling the neutrality of the Ghost Council, and has lived with this dishonor since.
  • The coterie ultimately decided to speak with Rosa before moving forward with any plan, including calling for the Ghost Council.

Evening's Freshness...

  • The following evening, while attending to Pius' waking, Josi proudly explains that her ceremonial practice has paid off — she can now harness the powers of entropy directly through her touch, compelling it into others.
  • After helping Pius from his stone sarcophagus and presenting him with a chalice of blood, Josi leads him to the "green room" — where Justine's compatriots, Jacques and Didier, were sleeping. Josi is flustered by their presence in her Sire's space, but Pius merely begins to inspect them. He comments that he once owned a pair of "nubile slaveboys" himself, and that as he becomes reacclimated with the "Skinlands" that he finds himself becoming interested in the pleasures of the flesh.
  • Aradia and Lina walk a couple of blocks down from the Center for Thanatology, intent to find some fresh blood at a local bar — Ladyhawk's. Lina is able to find a young woman without issue, taking "Melanie" into a shadow booth to feed from. Aradia however stays front and center at the bar top, flirting with Lisa. She regales Lisa with stories of her time as a musician, before cranking up her "natural" charm and feeding. After the comedown, the two exchange phone bumbers.
  • Justine, having "comforted" her now shaken gimps, tries to center hself with a quick tarot reading. She initially draws The Tower. Intrigued, she lays out three more — the Ten of Wands, The Sun, and an inverted Queen of Swords.
