INVOLVED PARTIES
INCIDENT REPORT
I See Trees of Green...
- Aradia snaps out of her vision, having experienced a long-forgotten night in Sodom, Ontario. She tells the coterie of the pack of lupines there and their struggle with some sort of fæ presence. She also mentions that Erik was present, apparently being the trigger for her vision.
- Erik confirms that the story is true, much to everyone's bewilderment. It seems that he, the coterie of Kindred, and the lupines entered into a contract with the fae, vowing to protect the "wyrd" that had been threatened by a logging operation. It created an uneasy peace between the Kindred and lupine of the area, but did ultimately result in the final death of the Ventrue operating the logging camp, Guillaume Desjardins.
- Erik stresses that even though he understands little of lupine politics or motivation, that he doubts that the lupine who attacked Aradia and Lina are affiliated with those who entered the fae contract with him. Even still, if the coterie does intend to assembled the Ghost Council, then it might be best if he is not present, as there's no telling how he might be received.
- Erik also shoots down the idea of potentially using the parley as an ambush. He recounts that his clansmen did exactly that when the "Children of Fenrir" has plagued their coasts with constant raids. Using the council as a distraction, his clan's bravest warriors struck at the Children's hearth, slaying their Völva. The resulting retribution saw Erik's own daughter, Astrid, be cut down as she performed her duty as shield-maiden. Erik has interpreted the lose of Astrid as punishment for soiling the neutrality of the Ghost Council, and has lived with this dishonor since.
- The coterie ultimately decided to speak with Rosa before moving forward with any plan, including calling for the Ghost Council.
